Google Workspace offers more features than you may realise. Google Workspace was designed to increase your productivity levels and make working simple and intuitive. In this post I will talk about a few features available with Google Workspace.
Office editing in docs
Google knows that Office products are still majorly popular with many companies. To accommodate this, Google Workspace allows you to not only download documents as Office files, you can also edit, comment and collaborate on Office documents directly from Google Workspace.
What’s even better is that opening Office files is simple - there are no extra steps. All you need to do is open the file and it’s ready to use.
With add ons, you can access your favourite third party applications within Google Workspace. This saves you time because you’re no longer toggling between apps. Because Google Workspace was designed with the user in mind, this seamless integration enhances your productivity. Furthermore, because Google values your privacy and security, add ons only access the minimum required data to complete tasks.
Google Drive preserves file formats
This one is pretty self-explanatory - any type of file can be stored in Google Drive. These include (but are not limited to) Adobe, Apple, and Microsoft files. The maximum file sizes you can store is also impressive (click here for more info about that).
Calendar scheduling
In my experience, finding time for meetings that work for everyone takes longer than it should. You exchange multiple messages that take way too long and are frustrating. With Google Calendar’s feature “Find a time” you can schedule meetings in the quickest and most simple way.
Google Calendar has incorporated machine learning into your scheduling. This allows you to even schedule meetings across time zones. Furthermore, this feature isn’t restricted to the web app. You can use the “Find a time” option on your mobile device while you’re on the go.
