The 33rd Tour du Faso came to a close this weekend, with ProTouch Cycling wrapping up proceedings with podium finishes on both the penultimate and final stages.
Gustav Basson won the 108.7km final stage in a time of 2 hours 47 minutes 50 seconds. After the 134.6 km penultimate stage, Samuel Mugisha missed out on first place but picked up a very respectable 2nd under tough conditions.
Congratulations to all ProTouch Cycling riders and support staff. It isn't easy riding and working under such hot and challenging conditions, and even harder to come home with podium finishes - well done.
