This past Thursday, DotModus and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening on our rooftop with guest speaker, Ron Rutland.

In 2013, Ron Rutland achieved a world-first unsupported solo bicycle journey through the entire continent of Africa. Ron's colossal 27-month, 42,000 km cycle from Cape Town to London took him through 75 countries, leaving him with a passport full of stamps and a lifetime’s worth of incredible stories.
His adventures certainly didn't stop there. Ron has since completed a world-record-breaking hole of golf across the immense, untouched landscapes of Mongolia, and most recently a charity bicycle ride from London to Tokyo (to watch the Springboks win the 2019 Rugby World Cup!). Each of which can be seen in the incredible movies The Longest Hole and Everything in Between.
Unsurprisingly, Ron is currently planning a similar trip for the next Rugby World Cup, where he and a friend, Adam Nunn, will cycle from Tokyo to Paris for the opening game in 2023. See more about Ron's next trip here RaceToRWC 2023.
Ron has also been nominated for the 21st Century Adventurer Award - you can vote for him here.

After many months of working from home, it’s really exciting to be able to start welcoming guests back to our offices so a big thank you to everyone who joined. We look forward to hosting you all again soon.
